Havana, April 30 (ACN) Chile’s Communist Party donated a graphic images to the Havana-based Fidel Castro Center, including pictures and documents related to the 1971 visit by Fidel to Salvador Allende’s Chile.
Barbara Figueroa, general secretary of the Chilean political organization explained that the donation also includes photos about a second visit by Fidel in 1996 to participate at the 6th Ibero-American Summit, and about the Cuban assistance during natural disasters, PL news agency reported.
Figueroa and the president of the Chilean Communist Party, Lautaro Carmona, came to Cuba in April and met with top government and Communist Party leaders; they also signed an accord on exchange and cooperation.
High on their agenda was a visit to the Fidel Castro Center which recalls the thinking and work of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution and also Cuban history.
